The pre-Christmas period in December often opens people’s hearts and eyes to those in need.
Employees of the invenio group were once again involved in helping the Children’s Home in Oborniki Śląskie during this special time. Thanks to a joint collection in the Wrocław office and the support of employees from the Lower Silesian branches, funds were collected and the most needed items were purchased: a vacuum cleaner, duvets, pillows, large suitcases, a clothes dryer, towels, cleaning and household chemicals, and food. Sweet treats were not forgotten either, as we know how much joy they can bring to children.
A few days before Christmas, representatives from the company visited the wards in the village of Kuraszków, where the facility is actually located, and handed over the gifts, which were received with great enthusiasm. The special visit culminated in a touching moment when we received the children’s handmade Christmas decorations as a thank you.
The other Lower Silesian branches once again took part in a unique initiative – the Noble Gift campaign. It is an extraordinary project that brings people together to help those in difficult circumstances. In Lower Silesia, we joined forces to help a family affected by the September floods, who have suffered massive losses. The destruction caused by the elements has left Mrs Aniela without the basic furnishings of her home and the sense of security that we so easily take for granted.
Our employees have been incredibly supportive – from fundraising to planning purchases to packing and delivering gifts. Together, we have been able to provide not only the essentials such as furniture, appliances, electronics, food, cleaning supplies or warm clothing, but also additional gifts that have brought a bit of joy and a smile to their everyday life.
The Noble Gift is more than just a material aid – it is also a gesture of solidarity, a source of encouragement and a reminder that goodness really does have power. It is amazing how much can be achieved when we act together – with heart, commitment and concern for others.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to these two events – together we can do more and it is worth spreading the goodness!
